Sybille likes to look beneath the surface. Whether it’s an individual, a team or an organization, Sybille examines situations to understand more clearly, why people work the way they do. It is no surprise to discover that Sybille’s degree is in organizational and industrial psychology. With a background in helping unemployed people to develop work skills and find work, Sybille has a keen interest in a range of working environments. Sybille focuses on understanding both the technical and also the people skills needed and this helps her deliver highly focused, effective, training and coaching. 

“When I am working with a leader, I ask how that leader deals with change and how willing the leader is to address change. Change is a key element of leadership. Teams, organizations, all need to adapt and evolve. That happens most effectively when the team views change as a positive development. It doesn’t matter if it’s a leadership team or a production team, they need to speak with one voice to be truly effective.”

Working in English, German and Bavarian, Sybille smiles when she describes herself as “very German, very serious and direct”. It is this direct approach which allows her to help people take control and responsibility for their actions. It is in managing that tension that people become agile, effective and the leaders they are genuinely capable of becoming. 

As well as developing leaders and managers, Sybille is trained and skilled in mediation and conflict management. Her calm approach allows people to find new ways forward and build better relationships with each other. A valuable skill in the workplace. 

It is no surprise that Sybille continues her passion of getting under the skin of behaviour outside of work. As a bee keeper she is fascinated by her hives. “One will be calm, another will be quite lively. It is a special relationship and I find the bees fascinating.”
