Working specifically with leaders, often at senior level, he makes sure leaders have practical solutions they can apply as soon as they leave the session. As a business consultant with extensive business experience of real world business issues, Damir helps leaders find solutions to organisational and communication issues that get in the way of efficient and smooth task delivery. Using a combination of questioning and applied business models, he enables clients to find solutions which are as practical as possible.

Along with his experience in helping businesses address management, team and growth challenges, Damir has specific skills in training and coaching sales teams to fine tune their approach. “By making small adjustments to the way they speak and interact with the clients, sales teams can see a significant upturn in sales. The key is to help each person adjust their specific approach. When you are working with international clients, there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach. Good listening and communication is essential. There are overlaps between the approach of a good leader and an exceptional sales person.”

When he is training groups, Damir creates engagement and participation by recognising the experience people already have. Building on what they know already is key to getting people to engage with new ideas. “Theoretical business models work best when people understand how to apply them to their everyday work. When you test out what is going on at work against a model, it helps people take their actual experience and base a new approach on the learning. That’s when you get excitement; people have new solutions to try and when they try them, those solutions work.”

When he isn’t working, Damir spends time cooking for friends, spending time with his dog, playing basketball and going to rock concerts.
